What is The Difference Between SEO and SEM?

To understand the difference between SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) and SEM ( Search Engine Marketing ), you have to look at definitions of the SEO and SEM.

1- SEO- Referes to process of increasing visibility of a blog or website organically.
2- SEM- Referers to process of increasing visibility of a blog or website by paying money to the search engines.

After definitions of two terms SEO and SEM, you might have got  some difference between  them.
Hrere, I am going to describe about methods  to do SEO and SEM.

Methodsh to do SEO -  As SEO is a process you have to do from blog creation to until end. And these includes the following tasks.
1- Your content sould be of appropriate length, currently it is 300 words.
2- Your post should be plagiarism free.
3- Share your posts on social media. Such as, www.facebook,.com, www.twitter.com, www.medium.com.
4- Posts comments on other bogs and leave blog link to get back links.
5- Check you blog's broken links atleast in a month.
6- Use alt attribute when you include an image.
There a number tasks you can do for SEO to give example I have listed four.
7- Do keyword research and use appropriate title for your blog posts.
8- Use appropriate length of meta tags.

Methods to do SEM- As SEM is a paid search, and Google is a dominating search engine in the market.  Google provides an adevertising tool AdWord for paid search. In AdWord, if you pay Google will bring your website on  the  first  position for keywords and geographical locations provided by you.
The popular model for SEM is PPC ( Pay Per Click ) used by Google and also adapted by other social media website, such as, Facebook and Twitter.
 The PPC work as follows, when you bid for a keyword on some amount, such as, $1, $0.6. When your website appears in SERP ( Search Engine Result Page ) and a user click you have to pay.

Necessary things to do SEO-

1- Appropriate keyword reasearch.
2- Appropriate audience targeting.
3- The goal should be minimize the cost and maximize the CTR ( Click Through Rate).
These are some tasks should be done for SEM.
